Volunteer Co-ordinator
Purpose of the role
To act as a focal point for volunteering within the club, raising the profile of volunteering and the support the club wishes to offer volunteers.

Chalfont Softball Club Committee

Main duties
- To act as the main point of contact for all volunteers.
- Must know all the club volunteers and potential volunteers.
- Supervise and oversee all volunteering.
- Liaise with the Chairperson to ensure that all tasks required to run the club are being carried out.
- Co-ordinate the implementation of the volunteering recruitment, training and support plans.
- Ensure all jobs have a job description.
- Recognise and nominate volunteers for awards.
- Keep all volunteering paperwork up to date.
- Identify new sources of volunteers.
- Help organise social events.
Special conditions
If the Volunteer Co-ordinators has contact with young people or vulnerable adults they must have a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check.
