Chalfont Softball Club

Welcome to the website of Chalfont Softball Club.

Chalfont Softball Club has been running for over five years and plays in the Windsor and Maidenhead District Mixed Softball League. We are based in Chalfont St. Peter and now use Gold Hill Common in the centre of the village as our base, having previously used Chalfont Park.

For those that are not sure what softball is, it is a sport that is very similar to baseball. It is predominantly played in this country by teams with an equal number of men and women, making it a very social and fun sport to play. It is an incredibly easy sport to pick up and we find that anyone that has an eye for a ball, regardless of age, can quickly become a good player.

The softball league season runs from mid April until late August. The games are played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7pm. We play our home league games on Gold Hill Common before heading to the Village Hall Pub for post match drinks. We also train on the common, with sessions taking place on Sunday mornings from 10am until midday.

We are always on the look out for new players, experienced or not, so if you would like to take up the sport or start playing after a break then please contact us.
